It's also known as other direct ginseng. It's made of 6-year-old root with rhizome, processed and steamed. They are divided into North Korean red ginseng and South Korean red ginseng. Its shape is long column, and the upper part of it is made into irregular column, 7-16cm long and 1-2cm in diameter. Its color is slightly darker than that of common red ginseng, and it is brown or marmalade red. There is a short and thick reed head on the top of ginseng, and the reed bowl is obvious and large. Butterfly reed, which has double reed, is one of the symbols of high-grade ginseng.
